Ticket sales are going very well: we passed the 500 mark on Friday and are rapidly approaching 600. We’ve also got a number of people taking advantage of our group discount. If you would also like to form a group just let me know at clare.coatman[at]modernliberty.net.
Get your ticket before it’s too late!
Er… this is all very well and good, but don’t you think that by charging £35 ticket (or £20 if you’re unemployed… have you any idea how much money people on the dole get) you’re pricing the working class out of this event?
Or is that the point?
Hi Laurie,
The tickets are heavily subsidised to about 3 or 4 times their cost.
They include lunch and refreshments.
We’re relying on a massive team of volunteers giving their time and effort for free.
Events like this are very expensive to put on.
The regional and national meetings are free.
It’s only £20 unwaged and there’s a group discount.
That’s the best we can do I’m afraid.

Will there be any form of streaming media, or downloadable footage available for those people who cannot attend?
I’m covering this on my blog, and would dearly love to attend, but an earlier engagement (Six Billion Ways) prevents me from being in Bloomsbury.
Oh for the gift of bi-location…
Hi Michael,
Yes, the plan is to record as much of the event as possible and put it up on YouTube. It will also be possible to follow what’s going on on the day on the website, through live-blogging, a twitter feed, flickr pics and the occasional youtube clips.

Hi,
Do we get hard copy tickets through the post? As yet I have only the e-receipt.
Hi Copperbent,
Your email confirmation is your ticket: please print it and present it at registration on the 28th.
